Clay as a shared language

I trained in ceramics in the Netherlands and taught in shared studios before opening Kleiatelier Noord — a space small enough to stay personal, and steady enough for weekly practice.

I give ceramic classes from curious beginners to clay-wise makers and everyone in between. Some people come for the wheel; others fall in love with the big table. Both are welcome.

First sessions focus on feel — moisture, pressure, and rhythm — before chasing perfect forms.

Mixed levels

The room often mixes newcomers and returners; I rotate attention so nobody waits too long for help.

Kids & adults

Friday kids’ classes and weekend workshops keep the studio lively without crowding the adult evenings.
