Weekly classes

From first touch to confident throwing

Classes run Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. Kids’ sessions are predominantly Friday afternoons. Maximum six makers so everyone gets wheel time and table space.

Monday · 18:30–21:00

Evening wheel & handbuilding

Adult class for beginners and improvers. Centring demos, coil and slab work, and open practice on the wheels.

Thursday · 10:00–12:30

Morning clay studio

A quieter daytime rhythm — ideal if you prefer natural light and a slower pace at the big table or the wheel.

Friday throwing lab

Focus on the wheel: cylinders, bowls, and trimming. Returning makers welcome; beginners get a structured start.

Kids’ clay class

Ages 8–12. Pinch pots, simple coils, and decorating — small group, supervised, with clay-friendly aprons provided.

What to expect

Clay, tools, and firing included

Materials

Stoneware clay, basic tools, and glazes for class pieces are included in the fee.

Levels

Curious beginners through clay-wise makers — I adjust demos so the room stays together.

Firing

Pieces are bisque- and glaze-fired in-studio. Collection is usually two to three weeks later.
